It All Starts With Jesus
Everything we do comes back to Jesus.

We’re here to follow Him and help others do the same, in our homes, in this city, and in the next generation.
Since 1956, this church has loved and served this community. Over the years, our heart has stayed the same: authentic worship, applicable Bible teaching, and safe and fun kids ministry.
What started generations ago continues today. A church grounded in faith, shaped by people, and focused on what matters most.
We create authentic experiences for people to be transformed by Jesus.
The Mission That Drives Us
Our mission shapes how we gather, how we lead, and how we care for people.
We’re not trying to manufacture moments or force outcomes. We want to create space where people can encounter Jesus in a way that’s real, honest, and lasting. Everything else flows from that.
Meet Drs. Rob & Maggie Shader
Rob and Maggie Shader love doing ministry together. Rob is the lead pastor and Maggie serves in a variety of roles. But together lead with a shared heart for people, leadership, and discipleship.

They’ve been married for 15 years and are raising their two sons, Judah and Eli. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, hiking throughout Central Oregon, and playing hockey. Before stepping into full-time ministry, both Rob and Maggie worked in education, a background that continues to shape how they lead, teach, and invest in others.

Rob earned his undergraduate degree in Geography from the University of Oregon, where he also walked on to the football team as a wide receiver. He later earned a Master’s in Education from Simpson University and a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Southeastern University. His doctoral work focused on developing pastors and identifying what leads to lasting, transformational leadership. Over the years, he has served as a teacher, coach, youth pastor, worship pastor, and ministry college director.

Maggie began her career as a teacher and cheer coach before stepping into ministry. She now serves as Creative Pastor, helping shape the experiences and environments of the church. She is a gifted communicator who loves to teach and create spaces where people can connect with God. Maggie holds degrees in Psychology and Education, along with a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Southeastern University, where her research focused on experiential learning.

After five years of ministry in Montana, Rob and Maggie moved back to Oregon in 2025 to serve here in Redmond. They’re grateful to be closer to family and to be part of what God is doing in this community.

Together, they lead with a clear focus: helping people encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and live with purpose.
